of The 12 Months of Christmas Link up...

This month the theme is "Hearts"

Here is my card:

I have used a paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

I have used a double corner fold. The card base is a 6 by 6 inch square blank in blue. The top two corners are folded inside. I added a layer of pink and a layer of the DDD paper cut into a jumper. I then added a punched heart from the pink and a deer sticker.

On opening this is how it looks, decorated with the same papers, and adding a white die cut for the message. The corners were decorated similarly with hearts and deer stamps.

Here's my Christmas project...for the Challenge #422 at Addicted to Stamps and More

I started with a beige card blank. To this I added strips of card to make a tree. To this I added die cut leaves and Christmas stickers.

I added the sentiment die cut.

Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Post #1

I have so many ideas in my head but this is the first design I have put together...

I am using an image from Muse by Tammy Klingner

Using my grey paged journal I added layers of book paper stamped with a Carabelle stamp - Punchanella.

I added black soot Distress Ink around the edges.

I printed the image on a Gelli plate pull that I had made using Gelatos. I coloured this with shimmery watercolours. I cut and tore this to add it to the background. I added black soot Distress Ink around this.

I don't know if you can see the shimmer in the photographs.

Round the image I stamped a Finnabair Messy stamp and added white Gesso through a stencil (of squares).

Finally I added penwork in black and white and a sentiment.

Butterfly Challenge #165 T for Triple Point Card

The current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #165 is T for Triple Point Card

 and she gives instructions on how to make one here. 

This is the wheel - I have used all the colours starting with a tan base adding the three other colours in Stampin' Up papers.

I used a die that I once won from Mrs A for the butterfly.

The thank you die is an Avery Elle die.

Patterned Paper Challenge February 2022

HAPPY FEBRUARY!

My posts in February always seem to revolve around Hearts and Valentine's!

Here is my make as part of the Design Team of

 Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!!

a monthly challenge to encourage crafters to use their patterned paper

Recipe:

1. I used pieces of patterned paper (Stampin Up) to layer up the card base and beneath the sentimnet. I used Vintage Photo Distress Inks around the edges.
2. The sentiment is from an old Stampin Up set - Valentine Defined.
3. The image is from Gecko Galz
