Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge #327

I like to make use of my scraps whenever I can -
so I was delighted to make a GDT creation for Pixie's Snippets Playground...

Here is my card:

I keep my scraps in a filing cabinet:

The pieces range from teeny tiny to quite large - so I could find a scrap of the spotty teal background
paper that would cover the 5 by 7 in. card blank in two pieces - a large rectangle, then the strip along the bottom. I added a length of ribbon to this, with a small scrap tied around it, and then began to find scraps of card that would match the colours on this ribbon.

I found a piece of grey to die cut the STAMPlorations Bloomtangled Cover Plate Die 2
which forms the main focus of the card.
I then paper pieced several areas of the die cut by using the die several times with small scraps.

My final move was to add some wooden butterfly embellishments.

Hope you will pop over to Pixie's Crafty Workshop ... and join in the Snippets Challenge?

I would like to enter this card in the STAMPlorations

and also the

Happy Crafting!

to make the flowers. I keep
    scraps but not as organized
    as you. Pretty card.
    thanks for sharing
