Lovely project! Glad the post proved useful. I wish the massive, heavy duty brown grocery bags were easier to find here. I wondered about usin a Primark bag but I think the last one we got was some sort of heavy fabric and not paper. Anyway, off to look a bit back to see the details of yours. LOVE the colours in the preview!
ReplyDeleteDashing about, quick as I can for a Happy busy-day WOYWW!

Forty one degrees! I cannot imagine that heat! No wonder you went home.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the ring - I do hope you can get it repaired as it must have sentimental value.
Love the book, I too copied all the meandering book ideas from MA but am determined this week is purging the craft week.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
Sorry to hear about your finger and your ring. I hope you can get the ring fixed. 41 sounds way too much heat for anyone! The cinema was a great idea. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11
ReplyDeleteOh your poor finger. and ring ! I definitely couldn't cope with 41 degrees! Love the meander book . Helen #2
ReplyDeleteOh my the finger sounds painful but it should start to feel better soon. Hope you get the ring sorted too. We had to do this with my mothers wedding ring once but the jewelers made a good job of fixing it. Love the new book, great colour scheme too. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteYou’d never guess in a million years what the components of the meander book were! What a great job you did, it looks fabulous. What bad luck regarding your ring being cut off, i hope it can be remade as good as new when your finger is better. I’d wilt in 41 degrees, am definitely a northern gal, much prefer the cold!!

Eeeeek about the ring and finger, but I guess the ring can be mended and the finger can now heal, must have been a relief to have it removed. Love that Mary Anne inspired you to get meandering, that's just what this weekly link up is all about isn't it? After all I'm needle felting now! Hugs BJ#3
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely project Susan. So sorry to hear about your ring and the finger. Glad it is getting back to normal. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah
