Little Claire Digi Challenge #11

Today a new Digi Challenge starts at Little Claire  - you must use a digi!!

Challenge Number #11 has the theme "Anything but a card"

I used a digi stamp called Swirly Whirlie Poppies which I printed several times, small, on orange paper.

Today's project was a request from my daughter - she wanted a little pocket tissue box for her desk. I showed how to make one of these here

Her favourite colour is orange and she wanted Autumn leaves - we have enjoyed the colours so much this October!

Anyway I found some paper in my stash which was orange and brown leaves...I used light brown card for the initial net and matted it with the leaf paper. I used an oval punch to cut the hole for the tissues.

I fussy cut and matted the images onto dark brown card and fussy cut again.
I then added to the box...

Finally I added some autumnal buttons...

Do join the Challenge using a digi to make a project that is Anything but a Card!

Crafting From the Heart - New Challenge!

Moving on to our next  CHALLENGE "always anything goes"

We have two great sponsors for you...

Halloween is over and I am suddenly into Christmas cards!
I have four to show you today!

The first two use white square card blanks matted and layered with various papers from my stash. I have used Promarkers to colour the first image from Sparkle N Sprinkle
Brighten the Holidays
and added some silver glitter glue. The sentiment is also from this set.

The second image is Sparkle N Sprinkle's Wine Friends, precoloured - the sentiment is from the same set. Here I added some metal embellishments.

Using a green card blank matted with DP from my stash,
I added a die cut sparkly scalloped circle
and the die cut image, coloured with Promarkers.
QKR's Christmas Snowman
Finally I added silver glitter glue and bells.

My final image is QKR's Enjoying the Ride
This time I used a red card blank and a star die to cut an aperture in the front. Inside was matted with DP and layered with the image, coloured with Promarkers.
I printed the sentiment on the computer and cut it out with two smaller star dies.
Finally I added glitter glue...

Look forward to seeing your makes at Crafting from the Heart!

12 Months of Christmas Link Up - November

I am happy to be a member of the Sleigh Belles team of the DT

This is my DT make for the November Challenge

  Sparkle, Sparkle, Everywhere

Twinkling lights, garland, and tinsel oh my!  Christmas is quickly approaching and as we start to get ready for the festivities we'll be noticing that our surroundings will soon be rather bright and sparkly.  Whether it is part of the decorations that we put up or the special sparkle in the eyes of the people around us, there is a certain glimmer about.   Just like our surroundings, it is time to give our cards that same kind of glitzy look.  This challenge is going to be so bright, you're gonna need shades just to check out everyone's work!

Our guest Sponsor for this challenge is

SNS Blinkie

Please check out the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up for details of all the prizes!!

So...this month I decided to make a twisted easel card...with

Sparkle, Sparkle, Everywhere!

Starting with a white square card blank I scored a diagonal fold across the front and added an extra square of white card to this.
I matted both squares with papers from DDD Glitterati

All the images and sentiments are from the Sparkle and Sprinkle set : Holiday Cheer,
with colour from Promarkers and silver Stickles. The sentiments were matted on more Glitterati paper and 'Delight in the Joys' was mounted on dimensionals to form the stand.

Little Claire and Through The Craft Room Door Celebration 2015

This week Little Claire is taking part in the
Through the Craft Room Door Celebration 2015 blog hop!

Here's a little bit about more the hop and Cara who runs Through the Craft Room Door:

"For me, this adventure started one year ago when,  with a huge leap of Faith, Colleen Holmes handed me the reins of Through the Craft Room Door Website, Magazine and Challenge Blog trusting me to care for something she had put a lot of time and emotion into.

Along the way I have met some amazing people, made lots of  friends and learned many valuable lessons that have helped me grow in so many ways.

And one of those lessons is to celebrate the gifts we are given ... so that is what we are doing this month!!"

So make sure you take part in this week's blog hop and also those coming up over the next few weeks.

For this week, the prize on offer from Little Claire is three digi stamps of the winner's choice!

Here's the blog hop order you need to follow:

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra - Anything Goes every month!

I am delighted to say that I have been invited to join the Design Team of

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

I am hoping joining this team with help add to my card stash for Christmas!!

I chose to use the image Ava and Deacon Christmas Ho Ho

I started with a square white card blank matted with blue card then layered with robin paper from The Night before Christmas Paperpack (Helz Cuppleditch).

I printed the image on white card and on some more of the robin paper...

Whoops - note the mistake here -
I printed it again and cut out the Ho Ho to paper piece onto the card!
I added colour to the rest of the image with Promarkers...

Finally I added some Paperchase robin sparkly puffy stickers and some silver Stickles...

Do have a look at the other DT makes here
and link up your November makes!
This Challenge lasts all month...
