Double Trouble Challenge #209

It's a while since I entered a Double Trouble Challenge so...

I made this for Challenge #209 at Double Trouble Papercrafting

For Thing 3: CAS element

Thing 2: Add card to Try a Sketch On Tuesday #688.

  

I have used a white card blank matted with a Gelli pull and then a die cut including a butterfly. I added a further butterfly (second image) placed on more of the Gelli pull and adhered in place.

I added black penwork around the edges and a black sentiment.

The CAS element is the pink Gelli pull background.

 My Wednesdays have become very busy. I go to Water Aerobics after dropping off Ollie - so I didn't check that this had posted... and obviously didn't link...

On my desk is a set of circular tags based on this facebook reel

There is also a card made using the 49 & Market stamp and die set (Painted Pencil Botanical).

I saw this reduced in Spotlight...

I also bought the Tim Holtz heart dies which I shared with my daughter.

I had already made some ATCs using my own version of stacked hearts.

Behind this is the next stage of the 30 day collage I started last week:

These  are my weeks 6 and 7 of my Tiny Pieces of Art Year long challenge:

The theme for this one is Love Symbols including hearts, chocolate, cupid, red roses.

The Valentine opens to a make heart shaped letter. This was an item from an old Daphne's Diary.

The weekly focus was love poem and rhinestones and ghost stamping.

 The theme this month  is Still My Beating Heart.

When we left the UK almost 5 years ago I got rid of a lot of the contents from my craft room. I disposed of the huge box of cards and ATCs I had received over the years. The ATCs from the last few years are filed in ATC folders but I had a look at the cards - I decided to sort through them and just keep the parts that could be used in some way:

Color Dare Challenge #690

My card comprises a white card blank matted with a blue paper embossed with hearts (Cuttlebug embossing folder). I added the image and frame, fussy cut, from Gecko Galz. 

I will add this to the Gecko Galz Facebook Group

Finally I added the tag - a die from my stash - stamped with a Stampin Up stamp with a gem in the hole.

Here is my workdesk:

My desk is not really much better than last week - at the front are a few Daphne's Diary's which I have been collaging from - they are quite difficult to get here but I did find the last Christmas edition in Adelaide in December. to the right there is a Gelli pull made using string...

On the desk easel there is that journal page from a workshop by Michelle Grant which I finally added more to.

Behind this is the start of another 30 day collage:

To make my initial grid I used pages from a tiny calendar - I saved both last and the previous year's for collage...

This is my week 5 of my Tiny Pieces of Art Year long challenge:

The weekly focus was flower ephemera and cut aparts and the theme Summer Garden.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #510. Diecuts and/or Stencils

 

This is my Die cut/Stencil project...for Challenge #510 at Addicted to Stamps and More

This comprises a white card blank matted with a green paper. I then added a paper I had produced with my Gelli plate, with a heart die cut from it, and stencilled with a Visible Image circle stencil in white. I added some lace behind this and had already embossed the book on it. This is a stamp from Visible Image Free your imagination. The words are from Visible Image Laugh Louder also embossed in black on some more of the Gelli pull, cut out and placed on more green.
