Color Dare Surprise July 31

 

      This picture shows my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

This picture shows the challenge -

A friend was bitten by something and is now in hospital with a very swollen, sore leg - I made this card for her using my favourite colours based on teal, green and blue...

I started with a pale blue card blank matted with teal papers. I added a die cut oval and oval frame to the inside. These were cut from a metallic paper.

I then added the image and sentiment.

Conjurer of Dreams July makes

             

Today I am sharing my makes for the Conjurer of Dreams DT.

This month the optional month's challenge is Farm Life

I have made several items of which these are two: an index card and a card

 using an image from Bessie's Sunday Best

I also made a page in my whimsical journal

- this used images from Quirky characters -  cows.

And another funfold card using an image from Funny Horses.

Here is my desk today:  

At the front and just off to the left are two projects I am in the middle of, not yet finished. On my easel there are various things I have been doing in the last few days. I have been taking part in a virtual retreat so I have rather a lot of items to share:

I used the three of colours plus black, white and gold.

I started with a white card blank matted with an oval. I added a PET image to a white oval and placed this on the first oval.

I added a sparkly die cut with a gold edged sentiment on top.

Here is my desk today: 

My desk is much the same as last week. I haven't a lot to share - I had a virtual retreat last week with 3Quarter Designs. I have a lot of projects half started. I will share when I have something to share!! Then this week I have another - Black and White and Wow...I will share some of this when I have something finished. I did do this little 4 by 4 make which was a first little challenge...

I made a couple of cards using a stamping on acetate technique:

Each July I usually do a Junk Journal July - I will just share the first couple of pages. I made a journal using used commercial greetings cards.

This is introduced by Ink and Page.

At the weekend Sophie and I went to see Lightscape in the Botanic Garden. Before we went we did a bit of Cricut crafting making this mug for Kevin.

Here's my Christmas project...for the Challenge #522 at Addicted to Stamps and More

My card uses a black card base, a mat of sparkly silvery paper followed by an image from Conjurer of Dreams

I added sparkle to the trees with a metallic glaze.
