On the 1st Day of Christmas

Merry Christmas!!

Last year I made a set of ATCs depicting the 12 Days of Christmas - this was Day 1:

What to do this year?
Well I thought I would make 12 ATC sleeves containing some Christmassy ATCs...

Base: Flattened Toilet Roll inner matted back and front with papers from Couture Creations Merry and Bright 12 by 12 paper pad
Layer Two: I added ephemera from the matching set.
Embellishment: wooden deer with added gem.

Inside - an ATC - this was beige card matted with another paper from Merry and Bright.  Next a rectangle of green card which had been stamped Merry Christmas and embellished with a section of trees cut with a Tim Holtz die from a Distress Oxide background - based on the tags I made for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags where I used scraps of the die cut:

Happy Crafting!

  1. Very cool. Love the sleeve. HUgz

  2. Merry Christmas.
Looking forward to the new year.
    take care.

  3. what a fab idea with toilet rolls, they make a lovely sleeve for your atc's xxx

  4. Brilliant Sue! What a great way to use up toilet roll inners - I wouldn't have believed if if you hadn't said so.

    Happy New Year!
