Today I have been using Karma by Karen Yates
making a journal page mash-up...
Firstly I formed the background by using lots of areas and daubs of acrylic paint, embellishing it with Posca pens in black and white. I had placed washi tape around the edges to form a border. I adhered parts of the pattern papers and then the face, all printed on tissue with gel medium.
I then drew on the trees and used black and white Gesso in the background to help the image 'pop'. The top layers are of gold shimmery paints and pastels. The sentiment was one printed on clear plastic.
