Color Dare Challenge #490

This is my make for the

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme -

I looked through my brown scraps to find a variety of pieces in different browns and a little gold. In my junk journal I already had a brown patterned page (I had used different papers when I put the book together). I layered up the scraps using vintage photo Distress Ink on all edges. I placed the sentiment on a small piece of brown and the image on the tag, putting a scrap of fabric through the hole in the tag. I used markers to add the pink and gold to the earrings, brown pencil crayons and isopropyl alcohol to add some definition to the face, and finished up with some white Posca.
Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

The image and sentiment are from Lorri Lennox and a Michelle Grant Designs virtual retreat.

 Happy Crafting!

  1. Your layers of brown and gold are amazing! They form the perfect spot for your image. Love the pink with your browns.

  2. This is so great Susan. There's so much texture and pattern even with it all being just one colour. The pop of pink is great against it all too. x

  4. So arty, I love the choice to use the gold and pink for your one colour to use with the browns. So pretty, love Freda Kahlo too.
