WOYWW #763

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #763

Here's my desk!

Now you can see the journal page which blogged the other day. You can also see some pieces of upcycled cardboard that I am using for a junk journal.

So we got home on Thursday - just in time to share a workshop with my friends in the UK Stampers Network. This was 8pm Thursday their time/ 7am Friday my time.
I demonstrated how to make this 'clutch bag gift box' (and matching card)
which you may have seen on my blog before based on a video by Monica Hayward.
These were my examples

We went to the first day of the Australian Tennis Open in the Rod Laver arena, looked after Ollie for 24 hours and now today we are off to Perth for 10 days - to see my sister and her husband (who are over from Devon) and their son and family who live there.

Probably no crafting for a while and I am not sure if I will be able to post next week!

Hope to get around to you all this week...

Happy  WOYWW!

  1. I hope you enjoyed the tennis! it s being shown here on a subscription channel I don't have so I've not seen any of the action but it's a bit early when they play so I probably wouldn't anyway... have a good trip away and see you when you can! Helen #1

    1. Unfortunately not - we saw the first round Sinner match and the Sakkari one. And they did not televise Andy Murray!

  8. I love using recycled materials as well! How funny crafters can be - they will pay a ton for stuff but also try to use free resources when they can. Go figure. Still keen on those ATCs...
    Happy WOYWW Day!

  13. Have a fab time in Perth, don't worry at all about posting here, it'll be so nice to catch up with fam from the UK. Talking of which, your dedication at 7am for UK Stampers is wonderful, and a great project to boot. I admire your discipline in getting up and getting on SUsan! I bet the tennis was a great day, it's on pay per view here so we're only getting very selected highlights in the sports section at the end of the news each night....and I suspect that as soon as there's no Brits left in the competition, we won't even get that. Envying you the sunshine this month too!

  14. You apologised for posting late, but look at me!I am mega late with my comments.
Love your post, so much to see , you have been a really busy crafter whereas I have done very little.
How good to have family in Perth. My excuse is an accident o nTuesday resulting in a day at hospital. Broken ribs and a mess Of a split knee. Wont be doing much in the immediate future.
