Today's make is a Halloween Card...

You may remember I was on the DT at Sketch~N~Scrap for a couple of terms
some while ago...

Well, here I am doing a Friday Flashback, celebrating World Card Making MONTH!!

Why not have a go and link up your make?

Here is my card...

I think you can recognise the sketch - the squares have become pumpkins!!.

For this card I scored and folded white card to make the base - when I do this I always like to start with an envelope and make it to fit - then there's no problem finding a suitable envelope afterwards!! And the green one is Halloween-y!!

I matted my base with black card and then a handmade background...

I used white card to mop up spritzed 'rusty hinge' distress ink and distressed my trimmed rectangle with the same ink. I then stamped it with black Stazon using Crafter's Companion Splats and Stains rubber stamps.
You probably recognise this as I have used the same technique several times this month...

Next I added a strip of DP from my stash saying Happy Halloween -
sorry I am not sure of the origin of this paper.

And then three pumpkins - printed and fussy cut.
These come from Imagine That Digistamps Scarecrow

Hope to see your makes at SNS

If you would like to win one of my Halloween makes please check out
31DOH Giveaways!! on the side bar.
Happy Hopping!

  1. I wish stamp companies would make sentiment stamps
than run vertical. So often I have a long area
on the side of my card but can't put a sentiment
there because the stamp runs horizontally.
    Love the pumpkins.
