I have used the image to make an Easter card:

Recipe:

1. I have been making various cards using double sided 12 by 12 paper cut at angles and folded to make card bases. In this case I have scored at 4 inches and 8 inches on a piece slanted across the top. This makes a sort of zigzag card.

2. I coloured the image with Copics and added it to the front.

3. I used a Craftstash Happy Easter sentiment on the middle section.

4. Inside I added a House Mouse image that I had coloured on my desk...

For just a little more fun, I added bunny pegs...

1. White square card blank.
2. Squares of black and starry papers from which have been die cut a series of stars. These were then placed alternately to make the design.

Here is my card:

I used the image #154 Monday Mornings Frazzled Fran needs her coffee

I printed the image a couple of times, cutting them out and paper piecing
 (with paper from a paper pad from The Works - Sweet Moments)
 to form the coffee cup fold out card. 

This is the front:

I added two pieces of cream card above the cup on the front - distressed around the edges with tea dye distress ink. I wanted this to look like cream with sprinkles (these were made with Dovecraft pink 3D pearl effects.) The second piece is on foam pads.

I had printed the sentiment on the DP and added this on a piece of cream paper, alos on foam pads.

Inside the card, the cup is paper pieced and Fran is coloured with Copics.
This sentiment was printed on the paper too, and added to the cup.

Recipe:

1. Pre-printed patterned card blank.
2. Rectangles of red and green card.
3. I printed the first verse of The Holly and the Ivy on white card and then stamped the images alongside. These are Woodware stamps. I added colour with some Copics and trimmed this to size.
4. Embellishments. shiny white leaves.

Oddball Art Friday Freebie!!

I love receiving the Friday Freebie from Oddball Art Stamps! 
These are available when you subscribe to the Oddball Newsletter.

This week the image is CCC45 Geeky Ghouls - and I had real fun with it!!

Not only did I use the image, I used papers from Oddball Art Designs too...

I made a card and a set of ATCs...

I added a little colour with Copics, googly eyes, a button and some glossy accents.

The card is another bi-fold.

Let's celebrate your Birthday...

This is my second card for Outlawz Challenges 8th Birthday!!

I was delighted to receive a free pack of papers from We are 3 Digi Shop for entering the Outlawz Blog Hop and Challenge yesterday...

...so I decided to make a card using two of these papers.

I have made a bifold card using a 5.25 inch strip from a grey 12 by 12 page from a 'Neutrals' paper pack. I folded this at 2, 4, 8 and 10 inches and sliced off the two top corners to make the fold as shown.
I then added sections of the papers to each side.

I then added my image and sentiment - from Vera Lane's Unicorn and Pegasus Set, coloured with Copics.

I added a rosette and some glittery buttons.

Let's celebrate your Birthday!!

So many Birthdays this month!

But the one I am celebrating today is Outlawz Challenges 8th!!

I have made a twisted easel card -

 find details of how to construct a twisted easel card in my video below.

I made my card base using a 12 by 12 page from The Works paper pack
 'Wonderful Sweetness'.
I used a 6 inch strip to make a normal square card blank.
 I cut another 6 by 6 square to form the easel.

I used another paper from the paper pack to form the next layers behind the flamingo paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

I used the same paper behind the pre-coloured image and the sentiment - both from 
Imagine That Digistamps

Flamingo Birthday

Finally I added the flamingo embellishment.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge # 333 Holiday

I was dreaming of a holiday in the sunshine...

Recipe:

1. Basically I used the Sizzix Thinlits Pineapple Fold-a-Long die set and papers from a Summer Fruits paper pad from the Works.

2. I stamped the sentiment on yellow and mounted it on a darker yellow. I attached this to the yellow oval which clips into the middle pineapple. The sentiment is a Little Claire stamp.
3. The card folds flat  with the two outside pineapple halves sitting together.
