Butterfly Challenge with the letter B #118

This is the wheel for the current Butterfly Challenge:

The Butterfly Challenge has a different twist these days - to use a special fold is an option.
With B it is a Bi-fold and Mrs A has added some ideas here. I went for Version 11.

I often use a strip from a double sided 12 by 12 and score it at 2, 4, 8 and 10 inches - but starting with a 4 inch wide strip. In this fold the strip starts at 6 inches wide.
Triangular pieces are then cut from the sides, divided
and then used to add the shapes as shown.

In the centre I added the image from Limited Runs - this is the current Facebook Progressive Freebie image - coloured with Copics and cut out.
I added the sentiment (from Stampin Up Easter Blessings) stamped on 'banana' and distressed with a bluebell ink - I added this along the bottom of the image too.

I added the butterfly sequins - they are sort of burgundy and white but they are reflecting the colours round about!
My card uses most of the colours in the wheel but I decided it was enough without buttons and bows!

I will link this to Butterfly Challenge #118.

Happy Crafting!

PS - I was delighted to be declared the winner at Limited Runs!

  2. That is such pretty patterned paper. I love the two colour ways. Fabulous colouring and fussy cutting too. The shape really suits your design. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week. Hugs Mrs A.
