Happy St Patrick's Day!

I have been looking back in my blog and realise that some years I have made the theme of March to be green in recognition of St Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated annually on March 17th to commemorate the patron saint of Ireland and the arrival of Christianity there. It has evolved from a religious feast day into a global celebration of Irish culture, characterized by wearing green, parades, special foods like corned beef and cabbage, and drinking.

Today I have just made a little ATC:

This started with a pale green card blank  matted by a DP from Imagine That Digistamps

Luck o'the Irish papers. (No longer trading)

The image and sentiment are from Leigh SB's Paddy Balleigh Monster Set

I used markers to colour the image. I will add this ATC to Leigh's Spring Dreams Challenge

Over the years I have made a large number of St Paddy's Day ATCs

The ones in this pocket letter featured the Oddleigh Leprechaun Set

As did this on the front of an ATC keep box

This however used Vera Lane's Irish Luck

I also came across some cards:

This one again using  LeighSB Designs leprechaun with a Vera Lane sentiment:

This slider card using the Craftstash gnomes and embossing folder:

Two pop up cards using Paddy Balleigh and images from Oddball (no longer trading)

But my favourite make ( this from 2021) is this

I used a Lori Whitlock design  adapted to look like a shamrock.
So using my Cricut I cut the appropriate pieces and made the circular pop-up card.

This is the front:

This is the back:

When the ribbon is undone, it can be used to tie the card in shape.

Here are some more photos illustrating the embellishments I added - images from Leigh's Set, coloured with markers, and gold butterflies cut using Stampin Up's Beautiful Wings.
