I am in the process of making a monochrome journal page.

I made some more faux stamps which you can see on the easel.

These were made using some washi that I picked up in the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.

I have also been making some snippet rolls - paper based

and also one made of fabric, plus some scrappy dolls - but I have no photos of these as yet...

On Thursday last week we set off for a few days in Canberra - we arrived back yesterday. We broke the journey in both directions - in Albury and Beechworth - making the journey 4 hours at a time rather than 8 hours.

We visited various places so I have lots of photos on Facebook. Here are some examples:

Again rather a schmozzle but in the front a pile of goodies. Two pizza boxes full of purchases, a prize from the retreat last weekend, and a thank you gift of junk journal stuff.

I have also been making some ATCs - see the backs-And more faux postage stamps

This card was made following one of the retreat workshops. I still have two or three I want to do!

We got our car back on Thursday. Fortunately most of it was on warranty. Then on Friday it was my birthday - I decided I needed a little Joy!

But that's all for now...

Addicted to Stamps and More - Die cuts and/or stencils

 

This is my Die cut/Stencil project...for Challenge #490 at Addicted to Stamps and More

I made a couple of cards using a die I picked up in Spotlight - of a Kangaroo Paw.

I cut this in two colours for each card to give an idea of the plants.

The sentiments are from sets of Australian Stamps.

Our Song/Rhyme this fortnight is from Jane

My card started with a silver grey card blank.

On the front I added images from LEcoloringpages on etsy cut with oval dies.

I used a green matting layer and words printed on the computer.

Color Dare Challenge #646

 

  This picture shows my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes.

This picture shows the challenge - 

It is my Birthday today so I wanted to make a Birthday card.

 It is made with various layers of violet and pink. The stripey layers are washi tape. I also used embossing folders to add texture.

When I chose the colours they seemed to match the challenge pretty well but on photographing they are much darker.

My husband has made me a new light box - my old one no longer seemed to produce good reproductions -  so I am hoping I can improve on my photographs in the future...
