Tiny Pieces of Art in April

  At the beginning of the year I started a year long challenge courtesy of Linda Pearson on Facebook

I decided to use index cards as I had a little booklet of these in my stash.

 

I like this format as I have been doing the Index Card a Day Challenge during June and July for some years now.

This is how far I have got so far:

So far I have made

Week 1

Background paper - water colour.

Twistoon gnome image. Markers and egg paper. Stickers. Hot cross bun from Erstwilder.

Week 2

Triangle of paper - Francheville -Warluicurlangu artists.

2nd triangle painted with water colours.

White marker. White embossed bandicoots - wooden carved stamp. Then fussy cut.

Week 3

Conjurer of Dreams image.

Bunny washi.

White rabbit from Alice in Wonderland,

Rabbit peg.

Week 4

Duck - Imagine That Digi Stamps.

Feathers.

Water element (Conjurer of Dreams image).

Week 5

Sentiment - Visible Image.

Base layer cut from Diane's Diary, covered in tissue.

Conjurer of Dreams April Challenge

          

I am sharing  my makes for the Conjuror of Dreams DT.

At last a change!!

This was after the virtual retreat that I took part in, over several days, including the weekend.

The item that pops out at the front is a journal page that was after a workshop by Elisa Ablett.

The background was like this:

This was the pop up section.

On the desk easels you can see a page having followed a workshop by Mags Woodcock:

A page inspired by a workshop by Tammy Porter:

There is also the start of a page inspired by a workshop by Kate Crane - I have several workshops still to finish (or even start!)

This is this week's Tiny piece of Art.  This month the theme is Easter/Furry Friends so this is my fourth page: - the theme is Hello Ducky using feathers and water elements. I used an image from Conjurer of Dreams for the background and a duck from Imagine That Digistamps (no longer trading).

I will start thinking about my ATC for two weeks time, ready to be placed on my desk. However if anyone would like to swap with me (I am in Australia) please email me

Addicted to Stamps and More - Make your Mark #516

  

This is my Make Your Mark project...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

This card started with a white card matted with blue and then a stenciled paper.

I then used the same stencil to colour the flower spray, cut it out and add it with dimensionals.

Sketch~N~Scrap Throwback card sketch Challenge

A new Throwback card sketch challenge has been posted at Sketch~N~Scrap 

This is the sketch I am going to use:

I actually made a card on 5th April 2015 using this and this was my take on it:

Here's my new version:

I matted the white card blank with a paper from Bee Arty. All the other elements are from 49 & Market Eucalyptus Laser Cut elements. I used vintage photo distress around these to emphasise them.

Again not much different from last week but you can see a new notebook, some glue sticks, some swaps I received -cards and a version of my folio...

I haven't got a lot to share but I have done this week's Tiny piece of Art.  This month the theme is Easter/Furry Friends so this is my third page: - the theme is Bunny beauties using Woodlands, muslin and ribbon. I decided to use a White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (on my desk!!)

There should be more to share next week as this weekend is a virtual retreat...but here is tonight's sunset...
