Color Dare Challenge #710

      This picture shows my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes.

This picture shows the challenge -

I used three of the colours plus white.

I started with a white card blank matted with a paper of the first colour.

I added the die cut, cut in purple and placed on a designer paper in the second colour.

Finally I added a butterfly cut from the second paper.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #520. Diecuts and/or Stencils

 

This is my Die cut/Stencil project...for Challenge #520 at Addicted to Stamps and More

This card started with a white card blank, matted with brown.

I added the die cut, cut in orange and placed on some designer paper.

Finally  added some gems.

I haven't got a photo of my desk today as it is nearly 8pm and too dark to take a decent photo. 

In any case there is nothing new on it!

I am now up to ICADS number 23 - I have yet to do today

This is my Tiny pieces of Art make.

 This month the theme is steampunk and I have done Week 3.

I decoupaged a Gecko Galz image with a layer of clear acrylic on the window.

That is all I have for you this week...hopefully next week I will be able to share more - and that my room is tidier!

ICAD 2026 part 3

This is this year - the first month's themes and the themes for the whole 9 weeks.

I have done the next few days, following the prompts and sometimes the theme. 

This takes me up to yesterday.

Day 17 - crossroad

I used Robert Frost's poem with some images from Conjurer of Dreams - Why the cow? You may well ask!! Put together in Canva.

Day 18 - elephant

This is just a collage of scraps book paper, photographs I took those top two images in Ahmedabad when I was living in India some years ago.

The letter and the other image come from The Antiquarian Bibliophilia sticker book.

Day 19 - liminal space

An image from the internet with book paper and a quote from the book I am reading.

Day 20 - strata or stripes

Another image from the internet with stripes of washi (Tim Holtz).

Day 21 - moon

I used Emily Dickinson's poem The Moon with stars (Art by Marlene stamps) and images from The Antiquarian Bibliophilia sticker book.

Day 22 - pomegranate

Using Word putting together the poem and the image from the internet. I finally added the flowers.

Day 23- shibori

This is fabric, an image of shibori cut in pieces and hole reinforcements.

Tiny Pieces of Art in June

At the beginning of the year I started a year long challenge courtesy of Linda Pearson on Facebook

I decided to use index cards as I had a little booklet of these in my stash. 

I like this format as I have been doing the Index Card a Day Challenge during June and July for some years now.

So far I have made

Week 1

This used images from Stamperia, ink drips and splatter and a variety of metal bits.

Week 2

This used an old image from Gecko Galz, rub-ons from 49&Market, book paper, sewing thread and a metal key.

Week 3

Another image from Gecko Galz, decoupaged and layered with some clear acrylic in between.
