Here's my Christmas project...for the Challenge #522 at Addicted to Stamps and More

My card uses a black card base, a mat of sparkly silvery paper followed by an image from Conjurer of Dreams

I added sparkle to the trees with a metallic glaze.

MONTHLY ATC Challenge

with a freebie image set. 

The theme this month is Vintage toys.

I used the ATC backs on scraps of brown card and then the fussy cut images. 

These ATCs contain just items from the freebie sheet.

The next one is my favourite.

These are my makes for the 

Conjurer of Dreams

MONTHLY ATC Challenge

with a freebie image set. 

The theme this month is Christmas in July.

As I live in Australia I had to do this challenge - these images could be used as our Christmas in December!

I used the ATC backs on scraps of blue card and then added the images (and title) fussy cut from the image set.

I then added some gems and added glossy accents to the hat on this first one.

I will link these to the challenge.

This is this year - the second month's themes and the themes for the whole 9 weeks.

I have done the next few days, following the prompts and sometimes the theme. 

This takes me up to the 16th July.

Day 39 - harmony

 Collage of items from internet and an old book.

Day 40 - frost

Sparkly silvery image as background. Image from Conjurer of Dreams with sparkle on the tree trunks.

Day 41 - favourite______

I chose a favourite place - Penmon Point on Anglesey, North Wales.

This ATC is based on a journal page I once did inspired by David Hockney.

Day 42 - casino

Collage of images from the internet.

Day 43 - backgammon

Collage of postcard from Vintage Image Craft and image from internet. Stamps Art by Marlene to represent game pieces.

Day 44 - pewter or steel 

Using a stencil and steel coloured texture paste. Penwork with grey Wink of Stella.

Day 45 - thunderstorm

Background of water-coloured paper. Sentiment on another painted background.

Day 46 - farmer's market

Stickers from The Sticker Book of Curiosities.

This is a simple card made using a white card base, matted with green, white and then a background of washi strips.

Here is my desk today: 

Mary Anne asked about the purple texture paste of last week. I have placed my selection of coloured texture pastes on my work table. They are mainly Colour Blast but some are TCW.

You can also see The Sticker Book of Curiosities - I found this is a wonderful arty shop I discovered while we were away the last few days. I would have liked to buy more but my budget wouldn't run to it!!

I was also very pleased to find two issues of Daphne's Diary in a local magazine shop - very unusual - I usually have to get them online from the UK and then it costs an arm and a leg!

This month the theme of the Tiny Pieces of Art is weather. This is my second index card:

Our last trip was to Warrnambool along the Great Ocean Road. We were hoping to see whales but we were not fortunate enough to see any. I rather liked this seal in the town though:

We enjoyed visiting Hopkins Fall, Tower Hill and Flagstaff Hill.

The sea was rather wild especially when we visited Loch Ard Gorge.
