NEW CHALLENGE AT CREATE AND INSPIRE

Today another challenge starts at Create and Inspire
Our challenge is "anything goes"

This fortnight's sponsors are

And

I have made two easel cards today - definitely my favourite fold at the moment - very similar apart from the image!!
I started with red square card bases, placed them flat and made a horizontal fold across the upper part to make an easel. I matted the base and this easel with paper from my stash. I then added the image, coloured with Promarkers, also matted on red card.

The first one uses Limited Runs Stacked Snowmen
The stand is a chipboard from my stash with some red hairy twine.

The second one uses Ike's Art Teenager - here the paper and stand are from Grapgic 45 Typography.

Do go over to Create and Inspire
and see the other fabulous DT makes.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the Challenge!

Little Claire Digi Challenge #12 - Your favourite Christmas Digi Stamp

Today a new Digi Challenge starts at Little Claire  - you must use a digi!!

Challenge Number #12 has the theme "Your Favourite Christmas Stamp"

I used a digi stamp which is certainly one of my favourites!
It's called Digi Bauble Hedgehog.

I decided to make an easel card starting with a red card blank to form the base and stand and an extra square of red for the image.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and glitter and added further embellishments  - paper strips and stars from my stash. The sentiment is a purchased banner from Poundland.

Do join the Challenge using a digi to make a project that uses

And yes...I am Jolly Blogging again...

On the first day of Creepmas....

This was my make for the 1st day of Creepmas last year - the first page of a fat page book -

so the decision was what to make this year...

My first idea was a Creepmas tree covered with ATCs -
I thought I had a tree made of cardboard circles which would have been perfect - but somehow in the last move I think it must have been disposed of!

Then the idea crossed my mind to make a tree using the technique I used in the

BUT as we are now in Australia for a few days on grandparent duty
there hasn't been time to work on that...

So it's a concertina book that I found in my stash -
each page decorated with creepy, quirky or creepy cute images  including lots of ATCs.
As the days move on it will become more embellished!

So for the first day of Creepmas I am showing you a page matted with some DP from my stash and then layered with this super image from Teri Sherman
coloured with Promarkers.

More to see soon!

I will link this first page to Dream In Darkness - who are having a Creepmas event too...

I was so pleased to see the interest in my make for the 31 Days of Halloween -
so I thought I would offer you a Creepmas Present!!
My last year's Creepmas book -
it came to light when we were unpacking at our new house 2 months ago!!

December Challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra

Here's my Design Team make for the December Challenge of

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

I chose to use the image  Santa stockings to make an easel card

I started with a square white card blank matted with red card then layered with Christmas hat paper from my stash.

I printed the image on white card, coloured it with Promarkers and matted it on some more of the red card...I added an embellishment from my stash to the stand.

This is the card folded as it comes out of the envelope:

So...this month I have two cards to show you - using

The papers I used to mat the card blanks were from DDD Santa Claus is coming to Town

I used two green card bases that have a flip circle in the middle of the front.

The images were coloured with Promarkers and glitter and trimmed to circles - slightly smaller than the ones in the card blanks.
