I looked in my stash for papers in the three colours.

I made a sunburst card with these papers, using yellow and black mats.

I used a sentiment from my stash.

Conjurer of Dreams Guest Designer

I was delighted to be asked by Kim at Conjuror of Dreams to be a Guest Designer for May.

I made quite a few items using Conjurer Of Dreams images:

The first is an altered wooden angel which I painted gold. (I picked this up in a charity shop).

I then used the image from Art Nouveau Butterfly Girl in layers.

I then added several items to a junk journal. This junk journal was made with several pieces of scrap paper for each page.

This first page was of some Ciao Bella floral paper.

To this I added a fabric corner based on this video

The next page is a brown paper bag - on the reverse is a page using

Stained Glass Tulips

I decoupaged the heads of the flowers.

The next page is some old paper. I added an image from

Forest Path

and then a belly band of dark green with an image from

Steampunk Forest Creatures

I also used images from this to make hidden journalling spaces - one of these is shown in the following pictures.

On the next two pages you can see the back of the green belly band - this used several prints of a freebie from the Facebook Progressive Challenge.

The second belly band uses small prints of images from Playing Card Royalty

These are my hidden journalling spaces.

Can you see my 16th Anniversary ATC in front of my Art by Marlene journal page in the centre?

When I googled 16th Anniversary I got several suggestions for gifts - including wax, silver and peridot.

So I started with a  silver base matted with an embossed lilac piece using a numbers embossing folder. I then added gold wax to this. I then added the 'peridot' gems with a sentiment in beads...

This is my Art By Marlene Journal page from a workshop in that recent retreat.

To the right of my desk on another easel you can see several junk journals - this is one with main image on the cover from Conjurer of Dreams,

However on my desk front you might be able to see parts of a whimsical journal (this was after watching this video)

WOYWW # 831

   It is Wednesday so

My desk looks much like last week....but you can see a junk journal cover in progress (made from a cereal box). I will share it when I have it finished. The image on the top is from Conjurer of Dreams. To the right there is also a pile of goodies just arrived - - not really unpacked yet.

On Friday morning (very early) I joined a Zoom with the UK Stampers Network - Jo shared this card technique and I made a couple of cards...

On the 3rd our lovely Mum would have been 94 - some years ago I bought her this rose 'My Lovely Mum'. I do hope it is still blooming in what was my parents' garden.

This is a picture from our garden today...

But that's all for now... hope to comment on you all this week.

 Last week just flew by and it is Wednesday again before I knew it!
