Recipe:

1. Card base of blue card - hand made in Mumbai, India.

2. Image printed, coloured with Copics and cut out.

3. Sentiment from Craftstash 'March Daffodil' stamp set, stamped directly on the card blank.

Oddball Art Stamps Friday Freebie

I love receiving the Friday Freebie from Oddball Art Stamps! These are available when you subscribe to the Oddball Newsletter.

In particular, I really liked the one this week  as I could make a spooky version of the cards I made a week or so ago...

I used the same technique to make the background - by smearing distress ink across an embossing folder, inserting some white card and rolling it through my Big Shot. 

I used different colours this time though. Again I used a white card blank, matted with a paper from my stash and then the background, distressed around the edges with 'shabby shutters'.

I coloured the image with Copics and cut it out. I punched the sentiment with a small square scalloped punch and distressed that around the edges too.

Using much the same idea I also made an ATC, printing the image smaller.

Happy St Patrick's Day!



Last year I made several St Patrick's Day projects using
 LeighSB Designs

 Oddleigh Leprechaun Set

I made the card above, a Pocket Letter and an ATC box:

I also used several papers from
 Imagine That Digistamps Luck o'the Irish papers.

The heart banner is also one of Leigh's images.

This year I have just made some Celtic ATCs:



These are just scraps of card from my stash in greens and yellows. The base cards were cut using a Tim Holtz ATC die. The next layer are all embossed with shamrocks - a Craftstash embossing folder - Apple Blossom Sunburst and Clover.

   
The next layers were die cuts cut using Spellbinders Shapeabilities dies - Celtic Motifs.
Finally I added scraps of ribbon and some yellow heart shaped gems.

I sent 5 of these off to the ATC Swap UK on facebook...and was very pleased to hear they had arrived!

Recipe:

1. I started with a cream square photograph card blank enlarging the aperture with a scalloped square die. I placed an upcycled postcard in the aperture. The details from the postcard are as follows:

2. I added the sentiment - Stamped using a Stampin Up stamp and cut out with a nesting die.
