Another scrappy Christmas card!

Today is Kevin's Birthday - but rather than share his Birthday card, I thought I would share the Christmas card I made for him...

It also uses scraps - the current challenge theme over at

Anyway Kevin is this sort of person ... whereas I am more

So here's my card - a simple CAS one:

Basically lots of scraps of Christmas red and green card used to make a tag
(with a piece of ribbon cut from a jumper - you know those annoying hanger pieces that always show if you don't cut them out - very useful in card making!!)
and the 'Ho Ho Ho', on a red card base matted with green.
The words I printed on the computer and added a bit of faux stitching with a fineliner.
I also used this to outline.

I have several 'Ho Ho Ho' dies and I have been playing with different ways of using them. Here I have die cut across several snippets of card stuck together on a backing scrap.
I saw this technique used in a beautiful way by Jennie at HIMCR

I will link this to Pixie's Snippets Playground Weeks 311 - 312 - ages since I have joined in there...

Happy Crafting!
