HIMCR #344 - Tic Tac Toe

Do pop over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

The new challenge is  HIMCR #344 - Tic Tac Toe!

The sponsor is The Cutting Cafe!

The Cutting Cafe

The giveaway is 3 sets from The Cutting Cafe online shop!

Here is my card -  I have used images from Animal Friends Printable Set
which I coloured with Zig real brush pens and a clear Wink of Stella on the balloons.
Once again I have made a twisted easel card.

It fits the tic tac toe board in several ways -
Ribbon, scalloped shape, button
An animal, glitter, die cut
Scalloped shape, glitter, stripes.

This is how the card comes out of the envelope - you can see the front of the card which features white card, then pink then a striped DP from Imagine That Digistamps
I added glittery ribbon to this before sticking it in place.
I cut out the image and the glittery backing with nesting oval scalloped dies.
The last thing here was to add some butterfly buttons.

It opens and stands up using the sentiment 'button' placed on dimensionals.

This shows the sentiment a little better. I decorated the base of the card to match the top.

Unfortunately (?) the sun came out while I was trying to photograph this card - so it was hard to get good photos...

I also used an Easter set from The Cutting Cafe in a horizontal Twist and Pop Up card - Details on how to make this sort of card can be found here.
This particular card used Ribbon ( well, washi tape actually), Scalloped shape, Butterfly buttons. out of the tic tac toe.

This is the front:

I used all the images precoloured and just trimmed them to size, punched or die cut them.
I used a Tonic ATC Collection die for many of the shapes.

Happy Crafting!

  2. Love the box. Easter
    means spring should be
    here soon and the colors
    reflect that. I have to
    make one of those twisted
    cards - keep saying that.
    thanks for sharing.
