WOYWW #865

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #865

Just a  very quick note today  to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and crafty 2026!

I am writing this on my tablet in a motel room in Adelaide. We decided to have a few days away   -  tonight we are booked for dinner in an Italian restaurant and then intend seeing the fireworks. Perhaps these will be the early family showing rather than staying up to midnight. The main reason being that I have developed very bad toothache and my face has swollen up  like a balloon. I managed to get an emergency dentist appointment yesterday and I am  now on very strong antibiotics. Plus I am living on paracetamol!

We have decided to cut our trip short and set off for home tomorrow...

In the meantime no cratfing to share but I will add some photos if I can get blogger to work...
I did manage to add a picture of our family on Christmas Day but cannot move it to here - so on that note Happy New Year!!

Happy WOYWW and Season's Greetings!

  1. Oh man that sucks! So typical you plan a lovely few days away and something comes up to get in the way!I have to say tooth problems are the WORST. It's a pain you can't escape. Hope you will be feeling better soon and can ring in the new year pain-free. At least you can still see the fireworks and that sound like fun! We;ll maybe watch them on TV from someplace where they happen earlier than midnight - could that be yours? Not sure we will watch them midday but you never know....
:) Happy New Year's Eve WOYWW, and wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, joyous 2026!

  2. So sorry about your tooth, it sounds extremely painful. It’s a shame it’s cut short your stay in Adelaide.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year,
