A new Challenge starts today at Creative Fingers

Always Anything Goes!

 This time we are sponsored by Milk Coffee

and I used Fiona the Fairy and her Icecream coloured with Promarkers.

The Challenge is always Anything Goes so i have a simple card to show you...

Starting with a white card blank I matted and layered with two papers from my stash and the image cut with a nesting die.
I then  added some flowers from my embelly box...

QUOTH THE RAVEN GDT #1

I was very pleased to have the opportunity to be a guest designer for

QUOTH THE RAVEN

The current Challenge is to pick THREE from

I decided to create a fat page!

 My first pick was PURPLE...

I have been boiling a lot of beetroot from the allotment so I decided to try using some of the liquid produced to drip on some watercolour paper...well it stains fingers well...

It turned out to be a very similar colour to Tim Holtz Seedless Preserves Distress Ink - which I used around the edges. I also added some Black Soot Distress ink to the wet paper.

My next pick was purple ribbon!

Next I added the verses of Eldorado by Edgar Allan Poe,

 printed on white and matted on purple card and placed over some lacy webby ribbon (maybe counted as my third pick - lace).

Then I needed a knight - this is Ike's Knight printed on a silver grey paper with a touch of marker.

Finally I used my tiny Las Vegas stamp to add some ravens - definitely my 3rd pick!

Little Claire Digi Challenge #8

Today a new Digi Challenge starts at Little Claire

Challenge Number #8 has the theme "YOUR favourite Colour combo"

I used a digi stamp called Digi Heart Birds 
which I coloured with Promarkers.

I decided to make another 6 fold card - for more info look here
I really like the colour combination of cerise and blue so...

Method:

A 12 by 8 inches piece of card is scored and cut as follows.

It is then matted with paper front and back:

It is then ready for decoration - I used an assortment of die cuts.

 Ribbon and the image are stuck to the front so that the card is tied together.

This opens to show this:

IKE'S WORLD CHALLENGES #43

Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#43) is "ALL ABOUT THE NIGHT"...and this is my midway post...

 I used an octopus image from Ike from the SEA LIFE SET- coloured with Promarkers. 

My idea was to colour the octopus like a blue ringed octopus...

I started with a chipboard fat page and covered it with a blue card, distressing it with

TH black soot around the edges.

I stamped this with a Stampin up zigzag stamp in Versafine and attached the image.

I covered this with webby netting and added the computer printed words...

SLSLINES AUGUST INSPIRATION

Today I chose to spotlight the Sun - sunshine image in the SLSLINES Etsy Store.

August is my holiday month - so I am looking for a bit of sun!!

Anyway I coloured this with Promarkers and made a little ATC...

Behind the image are several layers of snippets from my scraps...
