Gifts Galore Challenge

I used a paper from DDD Gifts Galore matted onto red card and
covering half the white pearlescent cad blank.

From Sami Stamps  I used Christmas Poodle coloured with Promarkers,
cut out and added to the card.

Creative Fingers Challenge

A new Challenge starts today at Creative Fingers

The theme is as always Anything Goes....

This challenge we're being sponsored by

 Scrap'n'Dipity

and

Holly Durr Art

I have used Holly Durr's Fall Fairy, coloured with Promarkers and cut out and added to a tag.

I added this to a journal page...

The pages started like this - layers of spray directly onto the pages and then through stencils.

The tags were card shapes with added brayered paint and distressed around the edges with black ink.

The stamp I used on the left hand side is a Stamping Bella  - blowing bubbles.I added a quote to the two smaller tags.

Do go over and see the winners of the last Creative Fingers Challenge
and what the CF DT have made!!

Hope you will join the Creative Fingers Challenge!

New Collection at Dragons Lair

Today, the first of April, a new collection is launched at

Artistic Expressions

Look at those beautiful colours!!

I was fortunate enough to have a mini kit to play with
- and the other day I gave you a sneaky peek!

I used a sissix die to cut out three tags from a piece of an Artistic Expressions paper, adding 'April' to the largest one, and then combining them with a brad and some little charms.

Of course I am going to add this to my Dragons Lair calendar...

This comprises 6 rectangular white card blanks stuck in a star shape.

So far I have shown you January, February and March:

and today we move on to April: I have added several elements from the collection, trimmed to size or cut out. The pocket is adhered with dimensionals so the tag can be slipped inside.

Do take a look at Dragons Lair Designs for this new launch and all the other lovely designs!

And take a look at the Challenge which also starts today - Anything Goes!!

April Challenge in the Dragons Lair

I do hope you will join in with April Challenge in the Dragons Lair...

This month it is ANYTHING GOES!!

I have made an easel card...

I have used elements from

Turquoise Dreams

for the background and easel stand.

I have used Hoppy Frog under Cover for the image.
I inserted this into Word twice, printed it out, coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out.

The stand follows the same colour scheme
but I used a couple of SU stamps that I had in my stash.
Finally I added some wooden button butterflies.

Hope to see YOUR makes in the Dragons Lair Challenge...

Crafty Hazelnut's Challenge Extra for April

Starting this early with next year's cards should solve the problem of the November panic!!

Here's my Design Team make for the April Challenge of

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

I chose to use the image Meowy Christmas Cats for today's card:

The image was coloured with Promarkers and glitter,
die cut and distressed around the edges with Brushed corduroy.
I used a preprinted card base with scalloped edges.
The final touches were some adhesive ribbon and a computer printed banner.
