Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2 Post #9

     This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 2022 - Term 2!

Today I am a set of four cards made using the flower bouquet from

Enough  the October Challenge pack by Michelle Grant

Firstly I used the pre-coloured versions, just fussy cutting them and adding them to white card blanks.

I then added a rubber stamped image of the jar and a sentiment from 

Fleur by Karen Yates

 In my second pair the images needed to be coloured and I painted them with shimmery water colours.

In each case I again used sentiments from Fleur and fussy cut the bouquets.

The background in this one is a paper from Secret Garden Wallpapers by Elisa Ablett, trimmed and edged with vintage photo Distress ink.

In the second one I used a paper from Beautiful by Michelle Grant - a past Challenge pack from August

Baby's First Christmas

So, this is Christmas morning...

everyone is here.

I don't really understand it

cause it isn't very clear,

but Mom and Dad are happy,

there's pretty ribbons everywhere,

lots of things that they call presents

and even paper I can tear.

They keep showing me this new stuff,

balls and books and even soxes...

they don't seem to know how fun it is

just playing with these boxes.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU DO NOT TELL US WHAT INSPIRED YOU, YOUR CARD/PROJECT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZE DRAW! 

 I have made a simple card using A Very Yeti Christmas Add On. I have paper-pieced this.

Inspired by: 'there's pretty ribbons everywhere,

lots of things that they call presents

and even paper I can tear.'

Basically a green card blank, matted with a paper from The Wonder of Christmas by Yvonne Creations. I then added the paper-pieced image trimmed to size.

The sentiment is from Echo Park Ephemera Gnome for Christmas.

The final task was to add green penwork around the two rectangles (which I had corner punched).

CHNC challenge 624 for 10 December 2022 - quick and easy

 A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge

with the theme "quick and easy"

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

 I started with a red card blank  and matted it with a patterned paper from

 DCWV Merry Merry paper pad.

I then added the two images from Gecko Galz which I had cut out.

This is my make for the

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

This is today's colour scheme -

 

I have used the top row.

Having masked the central rectangle, I blended the three colours of Distress Oxide into it.

I then used my stamping platform to add the images and sentiment - using Darkroom Door stamps Christmas Bush.
