LOC Special TWO Week Challenge - Delicious Darkness and Smeared Ink

For Day 10 of Creepmas please go here

A new challenge starts today!!

I was very fortunate to be able to use Smeared Ink's Star Tree Fairy

But how to make this lovely image into 'Black Christmas'?
Well, she is rather a sad fairy, and for me,
TIS THE SEASON
to use googly eyes...
(Take a look at my 12 Days of Creepmas Project if you require proof!!)

Here the fairy's dress and wings have been paper-pieced with silvery paper
and the tree lights are Stickles.

I made a second version where the eyes are from a DP in my stash, and the image is printed smaller.
This time I just used Promarkers to colour her...

Do share your Black Christmas creations with us at LOC

Happy Crafting!

On the Tenth Day of Creepmas...

Here I am, Jolly Blogging!!

 photo JollyBlogger2014_zpse7278384.jpg

You will find the blog roll on the sidebar - I do hope you'll hop along!!

You should have come from Jane and next stop is Nan
but if you have turned up here by chance, do pop back to Terra for the start!!

So...onto the next page of my fat book,
using 6x6 squares of chipboard, each page covered with papers from
 Lelli-bot Gothic Grunge collection
and then embellished in various ways.
Thank you for all the comments you are leaving me!
I am really enjoying the fact that so many of you are SINGING ALONG!!
(Of course I am singing!!)
Btw I will announce the winner of my ODD ONE OUT competition on Day 12
so there's still time to have a look on Day 8 and email me...
So here comes Day 10... and I decided it would be another 'Activity' page!
This is how I started but I printed the image twice - Emerging from Smeared Ink courtesy of 31DOH

I stuck the other image on to lolly sticks and then trimmed them
to make one of those lolly stick puzzles.
(Take your chosen image and stick lolly sticks close together on the back.
Use a craft knife to split them apart and scissors to trim the ends. Sandpaper the edges if necessary.)

Not easy to put back together!!

I added the usual computer printed words and a sentiment from Create with TLC

And then tied on the puzzle pieces - to make them stay in place I used removable glue dots and a piece of card underneath

This is one of my DT inspirations for LOC
where a new challenge starts today!

So... so far we have
On the Tenth day of Creepmas my true love sent to me...
Ten puzzle pieces,
 Nine Cats Meowing,
Eight Grinning Gargoyles,
Seven Spiders Swinging, (this always end up as Seven Spiders Spinning when I sing along)
Six BITES of Jigsaw,

Five Scary Skulls
Four Red Balloons
Three Felt Hats
Two Googly Eyes

And a Raven in a Dead Tree!

Happy Crafting!

I then added this sentiment from Kris at Imagine That

So Nine cats? Well I used Hallo Kitty - probably the first image I got from Smeared Ink
 and one of my favourites!

Of course I just couldn't resist...

And then some Stickles...

There's still time to enter the Challenge...

Just saying there's still time to enter the Challenge at Blue Moon Crafting Station!
(It used to be Get Inky!)

The theme is Winter Holidays/Snow, so at this time of year that's almost anything goes!!

Here is another idea from me:

It uses one of the current freebie digi stamps at Digi Digi Doodle

I printed it on Christmas red and green coloured card and then paper-pieced the image.
I mounted it on this lovely DP from my stash which had been matted onto a
Christmas red card blank.
Finally I added wooden Merry Christmas and some gold bells...
Hope you will join the challenge!
I will link this to 12 Months of Christmas

I used the same DP on a green card blank to make this next card using

Again I paper-pieced, added a little Promarker and silver Stickles.
The 'Bah Humbug!' I printed on my computer.

I will enter this is the Holly Jolly Anything Goes Challenge
(I am still making to send out - and a couple still need to go to Australia!!)

 Happy Crafting!!

Thank you all the comments you are leaving me! I really appreciate them..
And I am mentally hearing you all SINGING ALONG!!
So here comes Day 8...
 Initially I was thinking 'Kaleidoscope'.
( I used to love getting one in my Christmas stocking when I was small! )
The image is Teri Sherman's Corner Gargoyle from Delicious Darkness.
I am so pleased that Teri's images will still be available next year at Smeared Ink.
I printed it 8 times, fussy cut the images and coloured them with Promarkers
 in the usual colour scheme.

Next I used a sentiment from Create with TLC

Finally I added my words, printed on the computer - and some Stickles to the eyes -

On the Eighth Day of Creepmas my truelove sent to me...

Eight Gargoyles Grinning!

TODAY there's a challenge - which gargoyle is the odd one out?
(Email me the exact difference to be in a draw for a prize!!

I would like to link this page to Delicious Darkness Challenge Final Hurrah
