CHNC challenge 622 for 26 November 2022 - something beginning with the letter R

A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme "something beginning with R"
Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

I started with a kraft card blank matted with a paper The Wonder of Christmas by Yvonne Creations. I then added the image. I added vintage photo distress ink around the two rectangles. Finally I added some red sticker embellishments (including one to Rudolph's nose).
R is for reins, Rudolph, reindeer and red.

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #524

This is my make for the

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme -

I used a white card blank matted with a silver glittery card followed by a piece of 'Wisteria'.

I then added a tree (a dylusions dy-cut) coloured with markers in the three colours.
The sentiment is a stamp from darkroom door, stamped with the 'Melon' marker and embellished with penwork.

Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2 Post #8

This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 2022 - Term 2!

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I am sharing a journal page which uses images from

Wonder by Michelle Grant

If you read my previous post you will see this picture of my worktable:

I was in the process of completing today's journal page.
My journal is a diary I found in a charity shop. I glued each pair of pages together to make them a little sturdier. on these pages I added acrylic paint, some collage strips, white paint through a stencil then images printed on tissue and applied with matte medium.

My next step will be to add more colour... I used shimmery water colours.

I then used lots of black and white pen...

WOYWW #703

      WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #703

Anyway here's my worktable:

On my desk, this week, you can see a journal page I am in the process of completing.
This book was a diary I found in a charity shop. I glued each pair of pages together to make them a little sturdier. I have added acrylic paint, some collage strips, white paint through a stencil then images printed on tissue and applied with matte medium. My next step will be to add more colour...

On the left you can see a darkroom door sentiment stamp - I was using this on Christmas cards.

I also have a couple of journal pages to share: This first one (in the same book as above) was the result of a workshop in a Zoom Craft and Chat with the UK Stampers Network last Friday. I am so pleased that the hours have now changed and I can join in at 7am rather than much earlier!

The second one is after following a Natalie May workshop.

Apart from that I have been trying to catch up on my Christmas card making - 32 days to Christmas!!

Anyway, all for now - see you next week...

Happy WOYWW!

Gecko Galz November Gothic and Image Challenges, ATC Challenge

I have made an ATC using the freebie from the Gecko Galz Monthly Gothic Challenge

This image is the skull tree - I printed it small three times then cut them out.

I added these to a bronze card (2.5 by 3.5 inches) matted with a scrap of Christmas paper.

I then added the bah humbug dog - an image from Ike, coloured with markers and cut out. I added glitter glue to the hat.

Finally I added the sentiment from Dylusions Bigger Back Chat Christmas.

I will add this ATC to the Challenge

Using the Gecko Galz November Image Challenge image I have made a junk journal page.

The page was first painted with turquoise acrylic paint.

I then added the circles - made using watercolour and cut out.

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz.

Finally I added some stamping and then penwork in white and gold.

I will add this to the challenge.

Finally I want to share my ATCs from the ATC Challenge

I trimmed the backgrounds given in the challenge and placed them on gold rectangles.
I then trimmed several images to add to these and a scatter of embellishments.

I will add these to the ATC Challenge
