Steampunk revisited

Steampunk used to be rather a favourite -
as you can see from the above selection of ATCS...
(these are from a couple of years ago!)

As I brought out all my stuff from storage I came across various 'steampunky' items -
and decided to make a card...

It is following the sketch from Mojo Monday 319

...and here is my card...

I scored and folded a piece of brown card to make a 5x7 card base.
I matted this with yellow card.
The next layer was a speckled cream card run through the Big Shot
 in Cuttlebugs 'Clockworks' embossing folder.
This was distressed around the edges with 'rusty hinge'.
Next a paper rectangle from my stash, again distressed with 'rusty hinge'.
I used Tim Holtz Alterations 'Gadget Gears' and another paper from my stash to make two gears.
These were stuck to brown die-cut circles and distressed,
The banners were pieces of the same brown card stamped with Kaisercraft 'Tic Toc'
in black and gold and again distressed with 'rusty hinge'.
Once assembled I added a key and two gears.

I have been trying to make lightweight cards for posting - this is definitely not a 'poster'!!

I am submitting this to Mojo Monday 319

and

Happy Crafting!
