Please take a look at my Candy here

For this ATC I looked in my scraps and found a snippet of red
and a snippet of shaving foam and food colouring background - remember here?

I took several Vera Lane images, combined them using Word and printed them out.
I used Promarkers and Stickles to add colour and glitter and then cut the image out .

Oh - and I added googly eyes!!

The prize on offer for one lucky linker is this rubber stamp:

Here's my card:

The image and sentiment are from Fun Stampers Journey...I coloured the image with pencils...the sentiment is layered up on dimensionals and shapes cut with nesting dies.

The embossed strip down the side was made using a new embossing folder and using a strip from a pastels Docrafts 12 by 12

This is one of two I was deighted to win from Pixie's Snippets Playground last week.

My second card features an SLSLines image Cute Monster Foodie and is my inspiration for SLSLInes today...I coloured the image with Promamrkers and embossing powders.

For this card I looked in my stash and found every bit of cupcake related item...from paper to ribbon to toppers to decoupage...not sure where they all come from...

New Challenge at Create and Inspire

Today another challenge starts at Create and Inspire
Our challenge is "anything goes"

This fortnight's sponsor is

I have a card for you today... using Goth Fairy Witch

My New Year's Crafty Resolutions include

  •  use things that are unused in my craft room
  • use different techniques
So I coloured this image with pencil crayons - not something I have done before...

I cut the image out with a nesting die and matted and layered the card base with blue plain card and textured card from my stash. I used these same papers to layer up the sentiment - an SU stamp from 'Warm Words'
Finally I added some flowers.

As a starting point for this design I used this sketch from Outlawz

Do go over to Create and Inspire
and see the other fabulous DT makes.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the Challenge!

Happy Crafting!

It's great to be YOUnique

I've had this image on my desk for a while now...
It's from Bloobel Stamps -  Moustache Ballerina
and I was waiting for a suitable card to use it on...

I coloured it with Promarkers and decided to put it on this Fusion Card Challenge sketch:

I have used just the sketch:

I added some red card as a strip across the card base and behind the image.
I printed the sentiment on the computer.

I will link this to the Fusion Card Challenge

Ikesworld Challenges #55 Weather

Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#55) is "Weather"...and this is my midway post...

My craftroom desk had a wonderful view across our garden:

But what have I seen recently?

Rain...

I made the following card for your inspiration...

I started with a 3 panel screen card base which had cloudy sort of top edges...
I covered this with paper from a docrafts Craft Collection - Pastels.
I added words stamped with individual letter stamps on white
matted on the card from my stash that I also used to print the images.

The images I used were a dog from Daft Dogz
and Scaredy Cat
Ike's freebie on her Catlovers Blog courtesy of Ike's Art.

The cloud is just an outline and the raindrops - punched leaves from a SU punch.

Of course I added googly eyes...and some wooden embellishments.

and the sentiment says...

Find Ike's images here

I would also like to say how pleased I was to recieve a PRIZE from Ike the other day

Two of Ike's Soozoos - they ae gorgeous!! Find them here

Two Quick CAS cards

On my work table I had these two small turquoise card blanks -
so two quick cards were in order.

I have been printing images with backgrounds included - so this fabulous silhouette
 (freebie from gecko galz)
was printed on a Dragons Lair background.
I then cut it out withan oval nesting die.
The SU sentiment from 'Warm Words' was stamped on another section of the background and also cut out with an oval.
The final touch was to add a little Jade Sea Detail Sparkle from Imagination Crafts.

I will link this card to Less Is More Week 260 Recipe

I then used some more of this background to die cut Tim Holtz 'Branch Tree'.
This was the first layer on my next card.
I printed Bugaboo's Reindeer block on a Decosses Dynamite Doodles paper from 'Snowbiz'.
I added some colour to this with Promarkers - although I was not too happy with the result as the card I printed on appeared to be glossy!
Finally I added three snowflakes.

and I will link this card to that challenge.

I was very pleased to win some Bugaboo images in the Birthday Bash!!
I will also link this card to January Rudolph Days Challenge

Gerda Steiner Guest Designer Call for March

Over Christmas I kept seeing an image Santa Peace

I put it on my wishlist and found it was designed by Gerda Steiner...now I find there is a
Guest Designer Call for March!
I would love to work with some of Gerda's stamps!

Having looked in the shop I found Santa Rock was a freebie - so I decided to use that...in an easel card.

I usually colour with markers but today I decided to use blendable crayons and glitter on the image.

The DP papers I have used behind the image are from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles with some gold paper from my stash.
I printed the sentiment on my computer and added a few buttons!

I will link this to the Guest Designer Call
