IKE'S World Challenge #100

Today I would like to show you my makes for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#100) is pretty special as it's Ike's 100th!!
The theme is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist -

This is my midway post...

My card celebrates Halloween (today) and 100...

I started by adding a blue background to a white card base. This had been embossed using a zero die (I was thinking bubbles coming from a cauldron) and cut out with a stitched die.

I added the Witches Cauldron image coloured with Promarkers and cut out - and stamped the digits of 100.

I then added KT Trick or Treat coloured with Zig real brush pens and cut out.

I am offering the number stamp set as a draw from my commenters

Day 31 of 31DOH - Halloween! Day #304 of 'A Year of ATCs?'

Woohoo - Halloween at last - and I have managed to post every day!! There have been a few issues with blogger but I think they are sorted now...

My idea was to make a book of ATCs this year - combining this with my 'Year of ATCs?'

I made a book, upcycling some packaging and covering back and front with gelli plate pulls.

I added pages and then started decorating the whole with Tim Holtz ephemera, stickers, embellishments and my ATCs. Because I couldn't resist adding some thick embellishments my book has now become quite fat!!

The final page looks like this:

I blogged the two ghost ATCs on Day 261 and Day 262 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

Day 261 describes the rice technique too if you didn't see it on my last video.

Some of you noticed I added some tags through the book which I haven't yet mentioned:

This is today's new ATC for Day 304 of 'A Year of ATCs?'. It also forms the book tie.

Recipe:

Base - black card

Background - brusho

Shaping - guillotine

Image - LeighSBDesigns - Tangled Witch Hat printed ATC size and coloured with Zig real brush pens
Embellishments - hat and spider buttons

I'm afraid this is a pretty long post - but it is Halloween!!
When we were in Tasmania we went to a Mexican restaurant which was decorated in the style of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

So...I decided I wanted to make some DOTD inspired things to finish off my 31DOH...so I started thinking about sugar skulls...

First I made some bookmarks using scraps from my stash, webby ribbon and sugar skull embellishments.

Then I started on some skull ATCs. These started with black card then rectangles of Graphic 45 paper. I then added the skulls. The first two were stamped using stamps from Dylusions Pin Up Queen and coloured with Zig Real Brush pens.

I then stamped the skulls from Vera Lane's Skullies on a rice technique background. Again I used Zig Real brush pens to add extra colour and then cut them out.

I then chose a selection of 9 to make a pocket letter:

Background - Reinker plus salt

Shaping - Guillotine

Image - Stamp from unmarked stamp set in my stash
Embellishments - metal embellishment

Today I have a couple of extra ATCs for you today - and I have continued my batty theme of yesterday...

Both ATCs start with black card followed by a Brusho background.
The first one then has a Limited Runs Image - a freebie from the facebook group, printed on lilac with a little Zig pen and googly eyes.

The second uses a Bloobel image

Then with a bit of embellishment here are the final articles:

31 Days of Halloween Day 29, Day 302 of A Year of ATCs?

Back home again - but experiencing problems with blogger!

I did have the following message from Denise which may be of help:

I did notice that if I am really fast, I can click in the daily heading for the post, which gets me in where I can comment. Otherwise, that link disappears really fast and I can no longer comment. I have checked on both my laptop and from my regular computer, and it's the same.

And I find I have no problem on my phone - just my computer.

While we were in Australia, we came across a wonderful deli - Tully's on the Mornington Peninsular. Here is their display of Halloween pumpkins:

31 Days of Halloween Day 28, Day 301 of A Year of ATCs?

SO ... my OZtober trip is over and I am back home!!

There have been some issues with Blogger over the last few days. Although I have not altered anything in my posts, my links have not been working, you have not been able to comment and the page has not displayed correctly!

For instance Day 25 displays correctly...but I am not sure about today - if it doesn't work please copy and paste the following into your browser

Just discovered if my links don't work you can't copy and paste either.

And I have just spotted that my followers list is also showing an error...

It seems that the link http://susanrenshaw0404.blogspot.co.uk/ only brings up the incorrect layout. To get the correct page, it needs the specific day link.
My blog archive should be alongside - but if the page is not showing correctly it can be found by scrolling down and down to find today's link....

What a pain!

Anyway do persevere in trying to comment...and enter my spot prizes and giveaway - all winners will be announced on November 1st.
