Ike's World Challenges #110

I'm afraid I am very late with this post this month -
but there is just still time to join Ike's Challenge #110 - Christmas in July

Here is my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#110) is Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of 'Christmas in July'

and this is my midway post...

If you pop over to Ike's World Challenges you will find there is a super freebie to pick up...

Xmas Dog Corner

You might like to use this for the Challenge - but your image is free choice!

My card uses the freebie image Xmas Fairy

I printed the image, coloured it with Copic markers, cut it out and added it to a 4 by 4
white card base which I had matted with a  pink spotted background. This was made by ironing a sandwich of white card, cling film and a layer from a serviette.

I then added Merry Christmas silver stickers and a number of sequin embellishments.

Hope you will pop over to Ike's World Challenges and see the DT's inspiration for the current challenge - and join in!

Addicted to Stamps and More #301

Here's my make for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Do pop over and see my teamies' makes!!

I am afraid I am a little late with this post - things have been pretty manic here what with one thing and another...

My card is a simple one displaying a triptych of mini ATCs (each 1.5 by 2.5 inches across).

I used a white card base matted with a background I made at the recent
UK Stampers Network Crafty Retreat (CR2).

(Blog here)
It was a marbled effect using alcohol inks - part of Mickey's workshop.

I then added the mini ATCs - each started with an orange rectangle. The next layer in each case is watercolour paper embossed in gold with a cat image (stamps are a freebie set from a magazine).

I then added Brusho colours and spritzed with water. When dry I die cut the pieces with a small rectangle with rounded corners die (Tonic ATC Collection).
Finally I added tiny googly eyes.

I'm afraid these photos were taken in electric light and in the making. I don't have a finished view as I sent the result off to a friend!

I will link this to Ike's Cats Only Challenge #32

Hope to see your make in the ATSM Challenge!!

Hiding in My Craft Room #361 - Christmas in July - Super Scraps Saturday

Do pop over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

Here's my make for HIMCR #361 - Christmas in July and Super Scraps Saturday!

The sponsor is MHK Designs

The giveaway is 3 products from MHK Designs Etsy store!

I have made a card using  Sentimental Lily Digital Stamp Set

I started with a scrap of sparkly Christmas paper from my stash, trimmed it to fit a small white square card blank and punched it at the corners.
Next I added the image - printed with the sentiment and trimmed to a smaller square and punched at the corners.
I used markers to add some colour.

This card would probably make a good Wedding card as 'Lily' means marital happiness - but the meaning of the name Susan is also 'Lily' - so I couldn't resist the image!
An unusual Christmas card maybe!

Hope you will enter the Challenge!
