Happy Valentine's Day!

Not only is it Valentine's Day, it is also our Wedding Anniversary!

February 14th, 1976

So a special day!

I usually make my husband a Valentine /Anniversary card - maybe like one of the ones below that I made last year.

If you would like more details of the background of these, I have showcased several cards including these in a video which you will see at the bottom of this post:

Today I would like to share another Valentine featuring an owl:

The card blank is silver grey matted with a pinky/purple card followed by the 'I Love You' paper, both from The Works 12 by 12 paper pads.

The owl was made by layering several die cuts together and placed on an embossed background.
I painted this with black gesso and when dry, I applied a metallic finish. I added this to another rectangle of the pinky/purple card.
I wrote the sentiment on more of the card and cut them out.
