Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground.
I have lost all track of time this week - I'm afraid I didn't get around to commenting last week and I am now posting this very late!
It's a function of lockdown, I think! And it has just been announced we have another week...
My picture for WOYWW #636 is back in my utilty room.
I finished my two months of ICADs - and quite missed the small pieces of art work - so when I saw a video of Marjie Kemper making a small journal from index cards I thought I would have a go - the picture shows a few cards with a first layer of gesso. If you want to see my last set of ICADs please look here
To continue - what have I been up to this week?
This was a Natalie May workshop using Michelle Grant Designs girls.
This was a Sharon Everett workshop using a Tracy Scott Lace booklet:The first pages looked like this:
And then it became this:
Finally, some image transfers - I will blog more about these later...this was a photo of me, transferred using paint, gesso and matt medium. The leaves were moulded by using a Heartfelt Creations Leafy Accents set (a new acquisition).
This is the same technique using a Gecko Galz freebie image
you may be struggling with the days of the week, but your art is gorgeous! Happy WOYWW Helen #2

You might not realise what day it is during lockdown Susan but you are certainly making the most of your time with creativity. Love the variety of pages and techniques! Hope lockdown ends soon and the extra week does the job. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #5
ReplyDeleteI like icads very much but that’s a very clever way of keeping them together in that journal, neat idea! But my fav is that black and pink combo, that is delicious and works so well together!!

ReplyDeleteat least lockdowns give you more time for arty crafty fun! You've been very busy, love the lace page, they always look very effective don't they, yours is gorgeous. Hope you get out of lockdown soon Happy WOYWW! Elle #21, EOTC
ReplyDeleteIn Europe we heard the Aussies are back to lockdown again... hang in there dear! I love seeing those index cards on your desk (and in a journal) - I worked quite a lot on index cards and was an 'art guest' at Tammy's (icad) a few years ago - it's been ages and seeing your post my fingers itch to go find me the left over index cards and create on it. Ohmy - so much that I want to do and so little time! I also love your journals, the 'sharon/tracy' one is awesome! Thanks for stopping by my blog, have a great weekend! Hug from the Netherlands, Marit #7
ReplyDeleteOh when will you do a flip thru of all your ICADs? That journal must be so much fun to page thru! Like you, I am very late this week, where doe the time go?? Love your design girls page - it's something special!

Fabulous projects this week. A belated happy WOYWW Angela #9
ReplyDeleteOh Susan, your icad cars are just sensational. Then you start with a pic of lace and the way that evolved was amazing…you should be doing your own workshops. I love the bee image and florals on card no 60 so much that am off to what I suspect will be a rabbit hole to look at Tracey Scott images!
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly putting your lockdown time to good use! So many wonderful things here! I LOVE the Natalie May workshop page, I will have to look her up, and the last one as well, with the Gecko Galz image, I have to look that one up too! You did well with the pink page, I love pink and black together. Keep up the creativity! have a great week, Lindart #23
