Addicted to Stamps and More #411 - Make Your Mark

Here's my Make Your Mark project...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
This challenge requires a card or scrapbook page or tag... using markers or colouring pencils or the like - making your mark...today I have used markers and a gold pen to add extra colour to the image...

I recently completed the two months of the index card a day challenge - my last day was this:

At the same time I made the card for today's challenge. I had watched a Jennifer McGuire video which combined a Gelli plate with inks to make a background. These were the sort of backgrounds I made:

The bees for both card and index card were also printed using the same technique.
I over-stamped them in black archival using the Tracy Scott stamp (TS059).
I then cut them out and then added extra colour with markers and gold pen.

The card was started on a white card blank with a  layer of gold card. Next came the background and the bee. Finally I added 'happy' - a Tonic die cut in gold and layered up on a couple of white versions to make a chipboard.

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! Do hop over to see the fabulous inspiration from my team-mates!

Happy Crafting!
