Steampunk Serengeti Blog Hop 2021 Post #17 August 22

Once again Leigh is leading a hop...

LeighSBDesigns Steampunk Serengeti Blog Hop!
August 6 - 31, 2021

Today I am  sharing another journal page - a steampunky one.

This was based on a workshop I did yesterday with Peninsula Paper Craft Boutique
Of course my version used whatever I had to hand rather than the products in the video!

This was the start - making the background with texture paste (I used Stampin Up shimmery texture paste) through stencils followed by sprays to give the colour.

I then added Distress Oxide inks through the chain and wave stencils.

Next I added seaweed and steampunk fish stamps.

I added some gold pen to the fish.

Finally I added the mermaid and the sentiment.

The mermaid is an image from Gecko Galz

I will add this page to the Gecko Galz Monthly Challenge

Can you see the shimmer in this picture?

The sentiment was stamped with (kids) foam letter stamps in black Archival on blue card, with pen scribble around each word and cut out.

I will also link this to Leigh's Hop

Happy Crafting!
