What's on your workdesk Wednesday #657

             WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #657

So what's on my workdesk?

This morning Carolyn Dube shared a video using 'Gelatos' on a Gelli Plate.

I had a go using the various art crayons in my stash - and this is the result - rather pale for my taste...

We came back from our little New Year trip - but not before seeing some more outside art...

These signs also amused us:

Since back... we have been doing Christmas jigsaws and then Sophie and I have started 'heat blankets'. The idea is to crochet a row a day (for a year!!) using a colour reflecting the temperature of the day. I wonder how far we will get!

Hope you are all well - stay safe...

With very best wishes for the New Year!

Happy WOYWW !!

  3. Happy New Year!
Loads of knitting/crochet group friends made the heat blankets in past years, they always turn our interesting so will look forward to seeing how yours progresses. Weirdly a friend just linked me to this outdoor museum http://www.noahpurifoy.com/joshua-tree-outdoor-museum that is also pretty cool. You might enjoy the virtual visit as well!

    Happy 1st WOYWW of 2022!

  4. Happy New Year, Susan. These temperature blankets are quite popular, aren't they. My daughter did one last year - haven't seen the completed product yet! But she crocheted a small triangle each day... I look forward to seeing yours as it grows.
    Take care. God bless.

  7. Well I’ve never heard of heat blankets before, great idea - it’ll be interesting to see how they progress! I love the abstract swirly master boards, pretty colours and useful for so many projects. The covid sign made me laugh as did the colourful cows!!
Happy 2022, may it be full of fun and crafting!

  9. Ah, am thinking your heat blankets will be astonishing, what a great idea. I’m loving the outdoor art, so glad you decided to show the epic scale of that lizard! I can see why the gelato pulls are a bit pale for your taste, but they are nevertheless really nice aren’t they…pale and interesting as my Mum would say!
