Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground.
Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #688
I didn't manage to join in last week - I was over at son Matt's looking after the girls and Wednesday came and went...although we did have some fun playing with clay.
I then came back on Saturday and tested positive with Covid - so feeling pretty sorry for myself! Stuck at home, not very well and spending the time crafting. The girls have already had it but Matty has also tested positive.
Anyway this is my desk today:
Ready for the next project!
I intended sharing the finish of my July Junk Journal and the last ICADs last week - so I will just add the JJJ and week 8 as this post will be photo heavy:
Week 8 of ICADs (just the last 5 to go...)
Last weekend was another virtual retreat so I have some projects to share. This was with Hillbilly Scrappin' and the tutors were Cindy Porter, Niamh Baly, Michelle Grant and Mel Johns.
Anyway, all for now - see you next week...
So glad you have been able to continue crafting despite testing positive Susan. Love the flick through of those fabulous journal pages. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #12
ReplyDeleteGreat pages. I am sorry you have come down with Covid and hope you are better soon with no after effects. Happy WOYWW. Angela #6
ReplyDeleteOh bother, sorry to hear the dreaded lurgy has got you! Hope it’s swiftly gone and is also mild. What a lot of loveliness you are showing this week! Some super artwork there and a new project ready to go featuring……..an onion? Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindyxx #5
ReplyDeleteYour JJJ pages are just fab.the one that says ‘find more time’ made me glug on the tea a bit…I should have one that says ‘use the time’!! I’m so sorry you’ve got succumbed to the dastardly covid, isolating is no fun…it’s about the time you realise how much you need and want to do in anywhere but home!!a must have been nice to be with the girls though, I like the sound of a clay day.
ReplyDeletelove the pages and icads. Sorry you're poorly with Covid; hope you recover soon. Luckily mine recently was very mild, so fingers crossed. Helen #3
ReplyDeleteOh sorry to hear you have Covid, it isn't fun at all is it? A friend has it now her Dad too, it seems to pass on quite quickly these days. Love the lady face piece, she is simply gorgeous and well done with the index cards too. BJ#1
ReplyDeleteOh bad luck, I hope that the lurgy doesn’t last too long and that you don’t feel too horrendous. The pages and icads are fabulous, they’re always so varied!

Feel better, lovely work, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, pleased you had a good time with the girls but sorry to hear about the Covid. Some people think it's gone but we're still wearing masks in the Supermarket etc. need to be careful because of my mum who's 94. I'm sure you'll soon be back to yourself. Loving the art work and at least you can keep yourself occupied with that. Happy belated woyww, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteOops. Must have missed you on the day - and I thought I did so well! So sorry to hear of your covid . Hope you quickly get over it and are back to full strength soon. Envious of a class with Niamh, as I watch her on YT when treadmilling all the time. Love her style, And love your projects - all so cool, especially the ink drop head (kinda Medusa like LOL!) and the B&W to colour one.
ReplyDeleteOff to catch the last person so Happy WOYWW a little late

Sorry you’ve been sick Susan… but at least creation still is happening. I adore that blue emu, it captures them brilliantly and love the tree green yellow ones at end too as well as ICADS. Well done you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x
