WOYWW #828

It is Wednesday so

I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #828

I am in the process of making a monochrome journal page.
I made some more faux stamps which you can see on the easel.

These were made using some washi that I picked up in the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.

I have also been making some snippet rolls - paper based

and also one made of fabric, plus some scrappy dolls - but I have no photos of these as yet...

On Thursday last week we set off for a few days in Canberra - we arrived back yesterday. We broke the journey in both directions - in Albury and Beechworth - making the journey 4 hours at a time rather than 8 hours.

We visited various places so I have lots of photos on Facebook. Here are some examples:

Sculpture garden in Albury:

Dog on a tuckerbox in Gundegai:

Fountain in Lake Burley Griffin.

Lindy Lee sculpture outside the NGA.

Parliament Buildings:

The Mint:

Alowyn Gardens on the way back:

But that's all for now...

Happy WOYWW!

  1. Lots to love on your post today! I really like seeing other people’s travels especially when it’s to places that I’m unlikely to get to myself. Those sculptures are wonderful! Great to see your desk too, those faux stamps are great fun, I bet you’ll use those for all sorts of things!

  2. Aw super bird sculptures sounds like a great time away. Love the butterfly stamps wouldn't have known they were washi tape if you hadn't have said. The mono page is coming along nicely and very brave using orange. Love the snippets too, lots of lovely stuff today. Hugs Bj#6

  8. Faux postage stamps are on my 'to do' list and have been there some time! And, also your snippet rolls have reminded me of a Yutube vid I watched last month...ITs very sunny here, I'm in the sun room where I'm house sitting dogs...we've just been round their garden and woods where the blue bells look fabulous!
