WOYWW #833

 It is Wednesday so

I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #833 and this is my desk

This is my desk at home but we are actually at Matty's this week looking after the granddaughters.  As a consequence I couldn't join in the Zoom at the weekend, I'm sorry to say.  And as luck would have it my Australian citizenship came through with the ceremony yesterday. This meant Kevin was left in charge of the girls - it's mainly just chauffeuring them about as they are now nearly 17 and 13 - while I took the train to and fro. It is a 3 hour train journey but costs only $5  each way (about 2 pounds 50). I was home for one night and Sophie came with me to the ceremony and also took me to the cinema on Monday night. We saw the latest Mission Impossible.

On my desk I was making a junk journal page with flips.

I am now back in East Gippsland. Not doing much crafting apart from knitting:

This morning we went to Lakes Entrance.

This was the ATC I shared last week:

These are ones I made thinner to make then easier to post. Thank you Spyder, Mary Anne and Angela for swapping. They are on their way !

Happy WOYWW!

  2. Congratulations on attaining your citizenship, I liked the pic of you with the flag! Great pics of the visit to the lakes but my fav is the one of you knitting, that’s a pic that means a lot and yet we never take shots of the mundane everyday things in life!

  3. First of all congrats on your citizenship. Did you have to learn lots about the history of Oz? Like in America.
Love the journal, love the photos,

  4. Hope you're having a nice time, sadly I couldn't join in on Saturday either. Your ATbookmark is on it's way to you too. Your ATCs look great. Congrats on your citizenship, well done. My cousin married an American lady and she had to learn lots about the UK before getting her citizenship, I think she now knows more about it than we do Lol! Wishing you a very happy woyww. 6. Missed you on the Zoom but hey ho, always next year. We were excite when out British citizenship came thru. Glad we did it when we did - and that was a solid 15 years or more after we could have LOL! Your ATC finally made it in the mail as I'm fighting a bad back. Also being a bit brief today - unusual for me! Happy Year 17 start to WOYWW!

  9. Congratulations on your Australian citizenship! I was trying to work out where it was held but since you didn’t go from East Gippsland my calculations were out. I was amazed how long it would take even to go to Adelaide.
Your ATC and journal pages are lovely.
    Gave a good week

    1. We were staying in East Gippsland - near Bairnsdale. The ceremony was back in Melbourne, in Narre Warren which is 3 hours drive/train away, near where we live.
