WOYWW #840

It is Wednesday so I am linking to WOYWW at Sarah's craft shed

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #840.

OK - I should do "Spot the Difference"...

But there are different items on the middle desk easel and Ollie has been playing... water colours then letter stamps (to one side). Plus I was showing him how the magic powders of Brushos can be spritzed to make lots of colours. After this had been left to dry he drew on it.

In one of my journals I have done three pages. On Michelle's Creative Warriors there is a Junk Journal July Challenge This is the first week:

Of course I am on catch up... but these are my Days 1, 2, 3:

This first page used Distress Crayons in the background before gesso - it was based on an idea from Dolly is an UK Stampers Network Zoom Craft and Chat on (my) Friday morning.

In this second one I used lots of book paper painted with watercolours.

My third page has a napkin as a background then a blue painted tree on book paper plus leaves. I finally found the Visible Image sentiment stamps to add to the bottom!

I also did the following journal page referencing the ongoing challenges at

These are the prompts for Week 6 of ICAD - Currently I have posted about weeks 1 to 4 - scroll down my blog...so I only am week 6 and some of 6 behind...

The reason why I am still on catch up and I didn't get around everyone last week - we went away again at the weekend - up to Bendigo, in particular to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition.

This is an indication of what the weather was like!

The previous day was lovely and we went to see light exhibition in the park in the evening.

All for now...
Happy WOYWW!

  1. I wonder if Ollie was amazed with the Brusho effect as I was, it blew my mind! Lovely to see him enjoying creating xx. Your junk journal pages are fab, I can’t pick out a favourite, they’re all gorgeous. Shame about the weather on your trip to the exhibition, I have friends from my town who are following the British Lions tour and they’ve had to buy raincoats!
    Hugs LLJ 5 xx
