How can it be Wednesday again? Thank you to all of you who commented on my blog last week - hope I get round to all of you this week! I am very sorry but this obviously did not post!!

I really did want to hop in this week as I will be MIA for the next two - I fly to Egypt on Friday...

SO here's my desk!

Rather a mess! I need to get this tidied up before I get packed! You can probably see two journal pages that are in progress...What else can you spot?

This is how the journal page I was doing last week ended up:

And I received this lovely card from my sister on my Birthday on the 4th.

And I had a lovely Birthday tea with Ollie...

Addicted to Stamps and More - Birthday Challenge #443

Here's my Birthday project...for Challenge #443 at Addicted to Stamps and More

I started with a green card base matted with a background made using Distress Oxides.

I then added two bunnies (stamp set by Fun Stampers Journey) and the sentiment printed on the computer. I used vintage photo Distress Ink around the edges.

This is my card

using SO’GETTA HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Vair is apparently the fur of a red squirrel so I chose colours of orange and red plus purple.

Inspired by "vair and purple" for this "birthday" card.

I started with a white card base and red card behind the image and words. The background papers are from a Francheville 6 by 6 paper stack Warlukuralanga.

The image I coloured in a very painterly way with brush pens adding faux stitching around the edge.

12 Months of Christmas - April Challenge

This is my DT make for the April Challenge

of The 12 Months of Christmas Link up...

Today I used the turquoise page from here

I tend to like the combination of turquoise, orange and Kraft. This had additional pink.

I started by adding some Art By Marlene stickers.

And then some flowers I had made with book print brayered with acrylic paint and stamped with a Tracey Scott stamp set.

I printed the words on the computer...
