Watch your email for this week's image - Lydia the Good Witch!

I haven't been able to show you any of my Oddball makes so far this month - I have just come back from Fiji and am still on holiday in Australia. We fly back to the UK on Tuesday...

Any way I managed to print the premium image on my daughter's printer - only on parchment as it won't take card. I then coloured the pieces with a variety of brush pens and markers and cut them out.

I then used these to finish a Joy Fold Card.

The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge is a Joy Fold card and she gives instructions on how to make one here. I have turned the pattern through 90 degrees so the the folds work up and down. The sentiment is used as a flap to hold the top part in place, placed on dimensional tape.

The current butterfly challenge wheel looks like this - I have used all the elements...

I started by using alcohol ink backgrounds to add the butterflies.
I had already used some background to make some ATC bases.
I then stamped these with a plain butterfly stamp - Spellbinders STP-003 - and Ranger Buttercup Archival Ink. I transferred this onto the designer paper I used to cover the card with. On the ATC I rubbed away the excess ink and overstamped with another butterfly in black Versacolor. I also overstamped on the card.

The papers I used to cover the kraft bases were from a Bloom 6 by 6 paper pad by crate paper.
I added twine and jewels to finish the card.

I hid one of the ATCs within the flap...

I will link this to the Butterfly Challenge

Bloobel is back as Twistoon

I am so pleased to see that Bloobel has returned now trading as Twistoon

You may remember some of the ATCs I made with Bloobel images...

This was one of my favourites:

Today I am going to post a couple of ATCs using a new image...

I have just come back from a week in Fiji where we snorkelled and one of my sons swam with the sharks...
I thought it was appropriate to use Angry Shark Digi Stamp
and some alcohol ink backgrounds which reminded me of the colours of the coral.

I trimmed the backgrounds to size and placed them on black card. I printed the sharks on parchment and coloured them with brush pen and markers.

Finally I added eyes and earring fish.

Card from Australia

I have one more week left in Australia before heading back to the UK - we enjoyed a week in Fiji last week for middle son Dan and Lizzie's wedding...

Now we are just taking a few days in Victoria before the flight home...

My daughter and I love to do a bit of crafting together. One of our favourite designs involves a snippet of interesting background in a photo card blank.

Sophie discovered these card blanks - and I made these alcohol backgrounds to slip inside:

To finish one of my Australia cards, I added a kookaburra button:
