I haven't been able to show you any of my Oddball makes so far this month - I have just come back from Fiji and am still on holiday in Australia. We fly back to the UK on Tuesday...
Any way I managed to print the premium image on my daughter's printer - only on parchment as it won't take card. I then coloured the pieces with a variety of brush pens and markers and cut them out.
I then used these to finish a Joy Fold Card.
The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge is a Joy Fold card and she gives instructions on how to make one here. I have turned the pattern through 90 degrees so the the folds work up and down. The sentiment is used as a flap to hold the top part in place, placed on dimensional tape.
The current butterfly challenge wheel looks like this - I have used all the elements...
I started by using alcohol ink backgrounds to add the butterflies.
I had already used some background to make some ATC bases.
I then stamped these with a plain butterfly stamp - Spellbinders STP-003 - and Ranger Buttercup Archival Ink. I transferred this onto the designer paper I used to cover the card with. On the ATC I rubbed away the excess ink and overstamped with another butterfly in black Versacolor. I also overstamped on the card.
I added twine and jewels to finish the card.
I hid one of the ATCs within the flap...
Happy Crafting!
So pleased to see you have entered a card especially as you are on your holds and have used the joyfold card top to bottom. Brilliant make and use of all the elements. Thankyou coming spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week hugs Mrs A.
