More Greens and OLCs

These cards use a technique using distressing inks.
The technique was recently demonstrated by Zoe on the fb group Mad Crafters Giggles.

 I was looking for greens
according to this colour combo:

Probably the distress inks are a little more muddy...

The idea is to tape down the card blank with masking tape, tear a piece of scrap paper down the middle and tape the pieces over the base leaving a gap.

Distress ink is then applied to this gap.
I used 'forest moss', 'shabby shutters' and 'evergreen bough'.

I then overprinted with this lovely stamp - Star Flowers from darkroom door in Australia.

Here's one of my green cards:

I am linking this card to Colour Q Challenge 231

Star Flowers - reliably flower all year round in Australia.

Having seen the above picture I decided to do a pink version.

This time I used a cream card base rather than white
and 'Victorian velvet', 'spun sugar' and 'worn lipstick'.

Happy Crafting!
