Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media June Challenge

Do pop over to Happy Little Stampers to see the fabulous inspiration for this Challenge!

Today I am showing you the Birthday card I made for my grandson.

I started with a Kraft background matted and layered with blue card then silver glitter foam.
The next layer is of Distress Oxide - smooshed and then splattered with water.

I stamped the sentiment on the background and added GrandSon
cut with a die several times and layered up into a 'chipboard'.
The top layer was cut from the background to make a sort of hidden word.

Happy Crafting!

  1. the waterspot in the corner looks like a squirrel.
    Maybe I'm "nuts".
Good card for a grandson - not too frilly.
    thanks for sharing.

    1. I see your squirrel!! Aiden is 17 now - wanted something plainish!!

  2. Great card for your grandson--love the background & hidden word!

  3. Its awesome card.
