Butterfly Challenge #138 - U is for U Fold Card

The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #138 is U is for U Fold Card.
and she gives instructions on how to make one here

The wheel is as follows:

I have made a card using all the elements.

I started with black card to make the original U shaped fold.
I matted this with papers from Kaisercraft 6.5" Paper Pad Full Bloom - a Flower Pattern one and a stripe-y one including creamy white (Unbleached Silk).

I then started using my dies.
Firstly I cut out the duck - also in a flower patterned paper.

As you know I have moved from the UK to Australia. We have now been here just over two weeks. As a consequence I do not have my whole stash with me - on the last count our shipping was in the Red Sea. So I am working with a small stash!!  Anyway I have never used this Sissix flutter of butterflies - I cut it in Ultra Pink and Dark brown (Umber).

Finally I added the sentiment.
This card folds flat to go in the envelope - the next picture almost shows this!

I will link this to the Butterfly Challenge #138

I came across the Shopping Our Stash Weekly Challenge today...Is it Summer yet?

I will link this card there too.

Happy Crafting!
