Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge

At the same time as I made the journal page that I blogged yesterday, I made this card using similar techniques. This was my take on a card made by Sharon Everett in a live for

Recipe:
  1. White rectangular card blank.
  2. Layer of white card with added paint - grey, speckled egg distress paint and white -applied with baby wipes in that order.
  3. White embossed stars on this layer - using Versafine, white embossing powder and Stampin Up stamps. 
  4. This layer was then added to the card base.
  5. Trees ( Stampin Up Lovely as a Tree) embossed using Speckled Egg Distress and Weathered Wood Embossing Glaze on a piece of card.
  6. Ovals die cut from the trees and edges distressed with Speckled Egg.
  7. Sentiment printed on the computer, trimmed, distressed and ribbon attached.
  8. Sentiment and ovals added as shown.

I was 'off the edge' with my white embossing, tree embossing and ovals.
