Today I have been taking part in another online journal-ing workshop with
This was the result:
The starting point was to dab acrylic paint with a babywipe all over the double page spread - I used PaperArtsy Bora Bora (opaque) and Prawn (semi-opaque).I then used the mandala stencil to add more interest. If I find the packet I will tell you where it came from - I have put it down somewhere...
The next task was to take the Tracy Scott stencil PS198, draw through it and cut out the pieces.
I used peacock feathers Distress Oxide to colour this.
The next step was to score and fold this so it forms the pop out section.
Taking the mandala stencil again, it was time for the central motif.I masked off all but the middle section with washi and then applied Sizzix embossing ink through it with a piece of cut and dry foam to a piece of paint daubed card.
I then used a selection of embossing powders in turn to emboss this - gold, white opaque and clear. I then cut it out.
I did a bit of doodling with a white Posca pen before sticking it all in place.
I then added peacock feathers Distress Oxide around the edges - and gold paint pen to follow, including round the middle rectangle.
Next I stamped some flowers on the rest of that paint daubed card using peacock feathers and stamps from Tracy Scott's ETS17. Having cut these out I glued them in place, finishing with more doodling with the white Posca pen.
Lots of cutting out Susan, it looks fab!
