New Year's Wishes!

I decided to use this image as it reminded me of my poinsettia - this year it is a Euphorbia Pulcherrima.

This is my make for the DT team of Outlawz

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:

NEW YEAR’S WISHES

What shall I wish you?

Treasures of earth?

Songs in the Springtime,

Pleasure and mirth?

Flowers on your pathway,

Skies ever clear?

Would this assure you

A Happy New Year?

What can I wish you?

What can be found

Bringing you sunshine

All the year ‘round?

Where is the treasure,

Lasting and dear,

That shall assure you

A HAPPY NEW YEAR?

I printed this image to make a single layer card and painted it with shimmery watercolours. The white dots on the berries were made with a narrow Posca pen.

I then added the Stamplorations sentiment.

Hope you will join in the challenge...
